Prosper Canada works to increase economic opportunities for disadvantaged populations through program and policy innovation. In this project, we designed solutions to help improve the uptake of three government education savings incentives* by low-income families.
Our research methods included expert interviews, a horizon scan, and ethnographic field work with low-income parents. We synthesized our findings into a journey map, informed by insights and design principles, to ensure our final concept would be considerate of all stakeholders.
At our co-creation workshop, we gathered participants representing all aspects of the service journey, including financial institution representatives, community workers, and policy advocates. We applied the feedback and design principles from our research, and built our two web prototypes.
